DEPOSIT TERMS & CONDITIONS
As Emilie hopes you can understand, it can be challenging to fit everyone in (much to her dismay!).
It is often too short notice for Emilie to fill cancellation slots therefore, she has introduced deposits in order to operate her business as smoothly and as fairly as possible
Upon booking an appointment Emilie will require a deposit to secure the time and date of your treatment(s). If you do not pay one, your booking will not be secured. Deposit payments can be taken via PayPal, BACS or you can be sent a payment link to pay with your card details if you wish.
A 'ROLLING' DEPOSIT
If you know you'll be visiting Beauty by Emilie again, you can have a 'rolling' deposit which means you
pay a deposit for your first appointment and instead of having the deposit deducted from
the total treatment cost, it will be used as a deposit for your next appointment.
You can choose to spend this deposit if you wish at any point.
An example of how a rolling deposit works
Your treatment costs £40 and you pay a £15 deposit which means you have £25 left to pay.
However, you still pay £40 but the £15 deposit you paid remains against your account which can then
be used to secure your next booking.
CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT
If you need to cancel, you will need to give at least 48 hours notice so that the full deposit can be transferred to a new date. You will be able to transfer the deposit to a new date once more as long as it's within the 48 hour window before a new deposit is required.
If you give less than 48 hours notice, Emilie will obtain the full deposit and a new one will be required to secure your new booking.
If you cancel on the same date of your appointment, Emilie will obtain the deposit and will require a payment of 50% of the remaining cost of the treatment you had booked. Your deposit will not be transferable.
In certain circumstances, Emilie may agree with you that less notice is acceptable,
will transfer your deposit to a new date and you may not need to pay the remaining 50% of the treatment.
If you are needing to cancel due to COVID-19 related reasons your deposit will be transferable to a new date. However, please note that you will not be able to visit the salon for 2 weeks if yourself, anyone in your household or anyone who has come in contact with you has a positive test.
This is to ensure the health and safety of the salon's clients, other staff and myself.
If you feel there may be a slight chance you will need to cancel please inform Emilie of this -
the same policy applies as seen above.
If you have changed your mind about the initial treatment you booked and would like one with a takes less time please inform me at least 48 hours prior to avoid being charged the difference for the original treatment.
If you'd like to add additional treatments to your booking please contact me as soon as possible.
If you are unwell such as having cold symptoms, please reschedule your appointment for when you are well again. As I am self-employed I need to avoid illness and sick days as much as possible. Rescheduling your appointment also keeps other staff and clients safe.
NO-SHOW
If you do not give Emilie any notice at all that you will not be able to attend your appointment and do not arrive to your appointment, she reserves the right to charge you the full amount for the treatment(s) you were booked in for and you will not be able to make any further bookings until she has received the payment. As she hopes you can understand, her time is reserved for you in advance as well as taking time to set up for you so when she is faced with a no-show it is a big loss in both time, money and potential disappointment for another client that would have liked the appointment.
Emilie reserves the right to refuse deposit transfers and/or refunds where she feels necessary.
HOW TO PAY A DEPOSIT
You can pay via debit/credit card from one the options below or by BACS.
Please see each deposit amount below to see the correct amount you need to pay for the relevant treatment/amount you're wishing to book. Emilie will also be in touch to advise you of this.
Please understand that these policies have been put in place to protect Emilie's livelihood and so that she can operate her business as smoothly and as fairly as possible whilst also taking into consideration the other businesses that she shares the premises with.
If you have any questions or concerns please get in touch.
