I have loved all things beauty from a young age and grew up experimenting with makeup.
I'd wear anything from bright pink to turquoise eye shadow, I remember spending hours with my older cousin experimenting and coming home to a very shocked mum but telling her;
"It's only makeup, I can just wipe it off!"
 
During both secondary school and further education, I was constantly searching for a career in something I loved to but didn't seem to have much luck. I felt there was stigma attached to wanting to study beauty college which is why I never considered it until I got older and suddenly realised that this is what I wanted to do all along!
 
I have now been a qualified makeup artist for 7 years and have loved every moment of it,
from the weddings I have done to the looks for parties to the makeup lessons - I love it all!
Prior to working freelance, I also worked in some of the UK's largest department stores for brands such as
Benefit Cosmetics, KIKO MILANO & No7 which has gave me a lot of insight to the industry.
Whether it's a full glam look or something a bit more on the subtle side,
you name it, I've probably done it!

Whilst working at No7, I volunteered as a Beauty Advisor for MacMillan Cancer Support -
this meant I was able to give skincare and makeup advice to post-cancer patients helping them gain back their confidence and empower them.  There is nothing I love more than handing over the mirror to the client for the first time after completing their makeup and seeing that sparkle appear in their eyes.
